Happy Halloween!

Madi was SO excited to be a witch this year.  She's been talking about it for months. Since they are all young enough not to really care about what they are, we made the magic trio: Max is a wizard, replete with magic wand and beard, and Becca is a black cat with a little black feather tail.  Madi was especially excited about wearing green make-up.

You can see how much Max liked his beard.  He could not have it touching him. anywhere. He thought it felt gross.

We went to Beacon Hill again this year with the ward.  It was really fun, as usual.

Yes, I'm giving my 11 month old a lollipop.... or 3.  This was #1.  That would be why she looks like she's in bliss. :) It was a gorgeous night- perfect no-jacket weather... more like spring than fall.  We had a great time! I'm falling asleep... more later.

Mer- you weren't supposed to read that!! I know, I'm terrible! It was purely a coping mechanism, since it was way past her bedtime. The third one fell on the lap of the guy sitting next to us on the train, so she actually only ate 2. Kurt was shocked, too. :)

Does everyone get these comments when I post? I have never done this before...
My first thought was...Jenn, Madi looks so much like you in the first picture...until I realized that didn't sound good. It wasn't the witch thing. It's the makeup on her lips brings out that she has the same smile as you. Really, look at the two of you in that picture.

Love the green faced witch, straight out of Wizard of Oz. Didn't you love trick-or-treating at Beacon Hill? One of my favorite Boston memories. :) Don't worry, I won't judge you about feeding your baby suckers, Andy gives Ben his Halloween candy for breakfast.

So cute. I have been meaning to tell you guys something. Andrew loves the "OLivia" books. You know the ones about the pig named Olivia. Every time I read them I just think that Madi must be like her. I don't know why I think that, but I do. I have never met Madi, but she seems like she would be as smart and darling as Olivia.
