Oh, Jenn, I think I have said it before, but I have to say it again. Even though I have never met Maddi, I just think of her every time I read the Olivia books. You know the ones...Olivia the pig. She is so smart and sassy--just like little Maddi. (I mean that in the best of ways.) Good luck on the thesis! You are incredible!
