Comments

Does anyone else get comments from people they don't know that just say, "Look here" with a hyperlink to another website? I have gotten like 3-4 in the last couple days. I fell for it the first time (last week) b/c I thought it was someone from High School or someone that I'd lost touch with. I realized when I clicked on the link and my computer supposedly went into a "security scan" and found all these terrible viruses and all I had to do was click "ok" and they would all be wiped out. Luckily, I didn't click ok and just had my own anti-virus software scan the computer. However, I think b/c of that, I still get all these random comments now. I hate it. I feel like I'm being viewed by a bunch of pedaphiles or something...

Has anyone else had this problem? Can I fix it? Do I have to take the blog private?

Dang, that sucks. No, I don't have that problem, I'm sorry I don't know how to fix it.

you can change your preferences on comments so that people have to enter those funny letters that you can hardly read before they can leave a comment. then you don't get spam. go to customize, settings, comments, show word verification. i think that should help. good luck.

I have started getting some of those as well. I changed the preferences like Mckenzie said and have not gotten any since. looks like you have already done that though since I just typed in the letter!
